Delosperma sphalmanthoides, commonly known as the tufted ice plant dwarf sea anemone or notchleaf ice plant, is a perennial succulent belonging to the Aizoaceae family. The species is endemic to the Northern Cape and occurs on the Roggeveld Mountains escarpment near Sutherland. The plant has an extent of occurrence of 56 km² and comprises up to three subpopulations. The species grows in shallow soil atop rocks, which protects it from crop cultivation; however, it is threatened by overgrazing and trampling by livestock.

How this section is made
Each card states this species' habitat figures with their sources, and what two fixed rules read from them; nothing here says what the plant does, wants or tolerates. The rules · the terms.
Group. Listed under the genus Delosperma in the archetype table, and Kew describes it as “succulent subshrub”. A group is taken only where Kew's description of the species agrees with the table's listing. The table gives no figure and no prose; the cold floor is the habitat's alone.
